Name Change

Some may have noticed the name change of this blog a few weeks back from "Boy from the Burbs" to "Close Confessions".  I've now completed the change by changing the url to evanclose.blogspot.com  

So why the change?  When I started this blog, I had no idea what to name it.  Tish suggested "Boy from the Burbs" as a joke since I grew up in the "burbs" of Southwest Michigan and I went with it.  In truth, I am more of a city and country person.  I didn't really identify too much with the suburbs thing.  Secondly, I felt that the title "SuburbRunner"was restricting to only running when I have many other passions.  Running is a part of my life and at times a big part but i am more than a runner, passionate about many other things so stayed tuned all things running and otherwise related

 

On a last night, I made this awesome soup for dinner.  Its a White bean Chili with Basil and Safron (but I omitted the safron, that stuff is wicked expensive!)

The recipe is from the Forks Over Knives cookbook and is vegan and oil free.  Ideal dish for this freezing weather!
